Josh and Leslie - The Wedding!

This wedding day was just fantastic, every little thing about it! Josh and Leslie were a laid back couple who were madly in love and had a wonderful style to show off on their big day:) Josh and I went to youth group together back when I was in junior high and it was awesome to see AND photograph so many old friends! It was a joy to document this unforgettable occasion and I am so happy for these two!

This was a must have shot requested from these two, I love it. This was right before they saw each other for the first time.

The ceremony and reception site was really cool (check out Inside The Bungalo, it's a coffee shop!) and the decor looked great!

A Happy Heart

It's February which means there are a lot of heart shaped candy in the stores, rose ads showing up in Groupon, and my daughter is learning what it means to love God with all her heart in Sunday school class (hence the beautiful art work, please notice the limbs she created for her heart cut outs:) This particular Valentine season I cannot help but think of 4 year-old Cora; around this time last month she had a heart transplant. After the surgery there were a few complications and some scary moments but now we are celebrating because Cora was discharged from the hospital and is home! There is definitely still a long road of recovery ahead for this little lady but it is so wonderful to know that things have begun to move in the right direction. I am thanking God for this answer to our prayers and my hope is that we will be seeing Cora in Sunday school class making paper heart crafts along with the other kids real soon:)

Baby Shower

This past weekend I went to a baby shower for a relative on my husband's side of the family. Erin is due to have her little bundle of joy next month and has chosen to keep the gender of the baby a surprise. Her two sisters-in-law put the shower together and everything was lovely! Nathan + Nicole = Engaged!

These two were a delight to photograph! Sometimes you just mesh with a couple and I would definitely say that was the case with Nathan and Nicole. They are such a cute and happy couple that seem to enjoy life so much together. I was happy just being around them:) It was a fun session and I can't wait to see them again next month on their wedding day!

Nathan picked a flower for Nicole as we were walking from one location to another, we just had to include the sweet little gift:)
