Prep

Last Saturday my husband's co-worker, and friend of ours, got married! I took some engagement photos of James and Stacy not too long ago and you can check them out by clicking here (then click show older posts). I came early to the Wrigley Mansion before all the festivities began in order to take a few prep photos. I always enjoy this time as everyone is excited for the upcoming event and yet they have to take the time to settle down and relax a little in order to get prettied up (at least the ladies do:) I just LOVED Stacy's red heals and her dress looked even more fantastic once she had it on! I guess the right way to say that is SHE looked fantastic in the dress:)

Loved the bridesmaid's dresses as well. There were a few different varieties but this one was a fav; it even had pockets!

All of the details Stacy added to her gown went together perfectly. She was sparkling at the alter:)

Love this shot of her perfume of choice.

I had a bit of time before the bride got her hair done so I moseyed around the mansion a bit to get a view of all the decor and thought this was a cute touch on all the tables.

I also took some time to tour the mansion itself and found it quite charming.

Could not resist, how cool is this old phone booth!

A bride must always be close to her phone on her wedding day... Grandma called Stacy to wish her well, so sweet!

I truly enjoyed your beautiful wedding, Stacy! You looked amazing and all your hard work paid off:) Hope the best for you and James. Enjoy Hawaii!!

The Baughman Family

Last Christmas the three Baughman siblings purchased a Rilie Dee Photography gift certificate for their mother and just recently they turned it in for a photo shoot! I did engagement shoots for Todd, Stacy and their spouses so I was looking forward to seeing them again and getting to take pictures of the whole family this time around. They all seemed to have fun and enjoy each other's company and you can see that in their photos!

Love these two of mom and dad:)

Stacy and my husband used to be co-workers and it is always nice when we get to see her and James and catch up on life! I like this shot of the two of them.

You all were wonderful and I hope you enjoyed your family picture time!

James + Stacy = Engaged

I could not be happier for these two, they are a perfect match! Even if you were just in their presence for a minute, maybe even seconds, you would come to realize that they are truly one sweet and happy couple! This shoot was full of many laughs and it's so wonderful for me as a photographer to see my clients enjoying themselves during the time we are taking pictures. When that happens it creates true beautiful moments to capture, and in my opinion, those are the best kind. So enjoy taking a look at some great moments with the future Mr. and Mrs. Martin...

The ring is gorgeous, I love that vintage style.

Stacy has some seriously beautiful blue eyes!

We were able to capture a few more moments as the sun began to set. It was quite the romantic atmosphere indeed!

Happy trails you two! I wish you the best on your upcoming journey as a married couple.
